I like the idea but why not put demos for newer games on there. They could have easily thrown a Mirror's Edge or Need for Speed demo on there.

They add value to the games. With the holiday lineup so crowded this year, a lot of people are going to have some tough choices to make. Trophies may be that little extra feature that helps someone who can't make up their mind choose Call of Duty: WaW over Fallout 3.
Sony is still moving systems despite their $499/$399 price tag. They don't need to drop the price. Now if the new NPD's show PS3 sales taking a dip, THEN Sony should probably take a look at cutting their price.

Valkyria Chronicles will be on the US store next month.
The Motorstorm PR and Valkyria Chronicles demos were given a couple weeks in advance to the Qore members. Everyone else will get them. Qore isn't forcing anyone to pay for anything *roles eyes*
