With the track record Xbone has had for this entire generation, is there any real reason to be excited for Project Scarlett?

I agree with this sentiment, but I also believe Part II could've had the potential to surpass TLoU if it hadn't gone full raging SJW with what they thought should be an important pillar of the game.

Play Battlefield. No one wanted CoD to go and rip off of Battlefield, and to very poor execution at that. They simply wanted a return to "boots on the ground".
Just goes to show that making large scale war isn't an easy feat. Trying to fit the CoD gameplay loop and typical CoD bs into a BF framework doesn't work.
