Why would sony drop the price of a NEW system less than a year into its release?

Wait till E3 next year ... youll get your price cut on both the ps3 and the Vita.
Lets hope this is the case, bc sonys e3 vita content was majorly lacking and totally disappointing.

If you had, youd know that both of those games are NOT below average.
Idk where you got that idea, but it sounds to me like you need to stop listening to reviews and play them yourself to develop your own opinion before you continue spewing nonsense like that.

What "NEW" IPs did M$ bring??!!?? Aside from XBL games (whoop dee do) it was the usual Gears, Halo, Forza, Fable crap thats been at every e3 for the past 6 yrs with some 3rd party thrown in.
The only impressive NEW game i saw was Splinter Cell ... other than that, it was a yawn fest.
Just BEYOND alone kills everything microsoft showed. Lets not throw in Last of Us or PS All Stars.

I agree. Totally disappointed with the vita announcements. I was expecting so much more.
We got PS:AS, AC3:L, and COD:BOd ... all of which we all knew about already. (If you follow the internet/n4g)
Where was Killzone, Soul Sacrafice, Ruin, New IPs? (GOW vita, Infamous vita ... etc ...)
There was no NEW vita games announced ... totally inexcusable.
I agree. I have a wife and kids to take care, therefore its hard for me to find the time to seperate from the family to game on my console, hence why i bought the vita. It gives me a console experience on a handheld that i can play and still be in the same room as my family while they watch tv or do whatever, plus i can take it to work with me or where ever else i go.
I personally hope all AAA ps3 games get ported to the vita. Why should i have to miss out on great games jus...
Ill be buying this, but i must admit im not a fan of lead female characters in games.
The only people "bashing" the vita are the people who dont own one.
99% of the people who DO own it talk of how much they love it and dont regret buying it. I am one of those people.
I havent touched my ps3 since feb. 15th; thats a feat in itself. The psp never did. It just sat there and collected dust, just like my ps3 has been doing since the vita came out.
I love my vita, and its what ive been waiting for in a handheld for a long...
But in the mean time, the people who for some reason ARE able to play online are getting so far ahead of the majority that cant, are going to have a field day with all the new players once we can all play ... thx sony for rendering my preorder bonus perpetually useless.

I preordered thru gamestop and i got the mp bonus (which i cant use bc i cant get online) ... but i didnt get the 3 avatars or lockscreen either. Anyone else having this problem?

It was a let down (for me) bc
1) the controls are very loose and not that good
2) the AR doesnt even recognize my cards half of the time, no matter the placement or lighting
I cant complain much bc it was only $1.99, but if it was more id be pretty PO'd.
I guess this is one of those instances that "u get what u pay for".
BTW ... i liked Escape Plan, but it got lost in the mix due to other great games iv...
