I rather get Destiny for the PC. Xbox one is now my primary choice.
Price does not matter. Consoles are an investment into a lot of entertainment spanning years. New hardware, old loyal gamers translates into sales no matter the price.
The only people worried about backwards compatible gameplay, are people who are financially struggling with this hobby and what to trade their current gen in for next gen. Up your finances or find a new hobby. My Xbox 360 will sit right next to my Xbox one. If I want to play old games then I it will happen.
Even though I am buying an Xbox one day one, I am in WTF mode over blockbuster anything.
Real time rendering unlikely, then you suddenly remember Onlive, and Gaikai a now Sony owned company both used cloud processing to real time render entire gameplay to you home via streaming. Microsoft's cloud processing does a helluva lot less cloud processing than an entire game.

You are buying into the speculation hook line and sinker. That you just admitted. How about wait until the thing is out like an adult before you write it or any product off. You have no clue what is in fact true or false regarding the Xbox one or even PS4. Everything including the release date is subject to change. And who are you but one person out of millions of console buyers to suggest I am wrong that a lot of people complaining were never going to buy an Xbox one anyway? This entire webs...
Xbox one is dead on arrival to people who had not intent on buying Xbox one, Xbox live, or any Microsoft product. It is not coincidence those are loudest complainers.
Dang, the fanboys are having a orgy in this thread. All the experts yet none of you have a ps4 or Xbox one on hand to test whether they deliver.
2.5 out of 5! LMAO! I find 4/5 hard to accept let alone 2.5!
Only took them seven years. Now go strong another seven years from this point and I will be impressed.
Conker was a surprisingly fun game when I bought it. A fried forced me to get it and he was right to do so. I enjoyed that game.
It was not that long ago people were calling the ps3 a blu-ray player with gaming features.
Day one buy for me. Always online, so is my computer, wifi only ipad, daughter's wifi only iPod, Xbox 360, and even my TV. My only gripe getting this console is My ASTRO headset reportedly does not work on it.
You broke out with a Vat! Awesome! I broke out with a pip boy! It ran V.A.T.S. 2.0.
If they named it anything else, people still would complain.
Where were you people when Onlive and Gaikai launched? They use cloud processing. In fact they require more cloud processing given 100% of the game is streamed to the gamer. Microsoft is not streaming a game, they are streaming processing of latency heavy processes for the game in order to alleviate the load on the Xbone. How is that not understood? Onlive works fine on today's Internet connections. Yet Microsoft is going to implement less of a load than full streamed game.
Wow, a lot of what you asked was addressed in the first few paragraphs. The Xbox one will process the necessary rendering to make up for the latency of the cloud processing which will catch up. I am quite confident Microsoft tested this cloud operating on the slowest but operational Internet speed possible to verify it works. Everything in gaming and computing is tested at the minimum and the maximum when so many consumers are involved.

I admit I was ignorant of cloud processing, but it sounds damn impressive. Especially with all the articles online I read to understand it. And it explains the 300,000 Xbox live dedicated servers Microsoft was talking about. I have friends left and right calling me about whether they should get a Xbox one. I am more confident in saying yes. This cloud computing also makes me more appreciative of my PC's GPU and CPU and what a load of work they actually endure to pump out ultra and high F...
Kiddies confusing disappointment of the reveal as disappointment for the console itself. Good luck with that.
I would actually enjoy that. I played crysis 1 on my PC given it was free with my crysis 3 purchase, and the controls sucked. An updated version would be nice.
