I think they changed the name to duck all the negative publicity Merchants of Brooklyn was getting. As it turns out, the game is just as bad after a name change. Who'd have thought?
Gamers tend to get way too mired in traditional thinking. Everyone dismissed Demo Play, but I think it's a great option for exactly the reasons the author explained.
MMOs are just visual chatrooms. I love watching bad TV while playing WoW - COPS and Cheaters are favorites.
That's a concern, but so many of them are selling I don't think it'll be a big issue.
I can't see how, when playing, this will be any different than other shooters with lower player counts. Tribes worked because you could fly.
According to the preview, my fears are justified too.
It does, according to the editorial at least.
Resident Evil 5 doesn't have a -bad- story, it has a campy story. It's not trying to be good, but just entertaining.
Couldn't disagree more about Gears' story either. I love the setting and how they rely on situational conversation rather than expository to reveal the backstory. I look forward to learning more about the Pendulum Wars and what happened to Marcus' father.
I liked Too Human. It wasn't the greatest thing ever but I had fun playing through it once.
Never knew he was a professional magician, wild.
Ever see that Johnny the Homicidal Maniac comic where the girl's breasts were so large that she snapped herself in half just by standing up?
Yeah, people will find anything to complain about - like innocuous humor articles.
You may be on to something there Cobra
Boobs are nice and all, but sometimes games just go too far!
I can see Microsoft coming out with a Zune that has more cross-compatibility. Something like how the Fable 2 parlor games worked - you could buy a little minigame for your Zune that links with a 360 game to unlock in-game money or items.
Hear hear, I man-sobbed during every dream sequence.
This didn't interest me initially but the preview sounds cool.
I broke my first controller while playing Odin Sphere. I wonder why it took me so long.
I freely admit I'm not manly enough to be the guy.
I still have flashbacks.
I was interested in reading until the Rodger Ebert comment. So many people misinterpret what he said and got all butthurt.
