I made a similiar mistake on my 60fat, it all happened when that date glitch happened a few years ago instead of just thinking it was a software problem I opened it up thinking I'm some repair guy forgot the plug was still on and tried undoing a screw latched on to the power pack somehow and let's just put it this way I got stuck to the screw driver for a few seconds and jumped up like a fairy lol then nerd raged battered it and had to buy a slim.
I recall ff, crash and the pod racing. It's mad how although these where a long time ago for me that this has brought back that evil nostalgia lol. The pod racing I only played in arcades as a kid so could have been cranked up for people too spend more.
If that is then case then why are their games still gonna be priced the same. If its easier to develop on then surely this shouldn't be the case. Also less people need to be employed, less man hours = cutting back on all ends. I'm not bashing I just feel I have a valid point here. I did put it a bit bluntly but it's true, if you don't have a life besides games then of course you will get bored. You never heard the saying sometimes you need some egg instead of bacon, it is in our nature to be bored of repetitiveness unless your an addict to something then there's a problem. Yea but raw power doesn't just enable better graphics it enables bigger and better experiences hence when the next gen Xbox and ps3 comes out imagine how huge and detailed open world games will be and the interactions that can be possible in them. Wii u is a no brainer for me I lost interest in Nintendo when my balls dropped.

Although I partly agree, if these genres died then gaming would get hit quite bad I think look at the sales for these games and then wonder would consoles sell as we'll as they do. They do contribute quite a lot to the gaming industry although quite a few games are now becoming mainstream and that's due to the higher directors/executives of company's pushing for sales to maximise profits.
They are hoping fans buy the wii u because of it, nintendo paying them off.
