I'm actually a fan of PlayStation and have more than 300 games on psn, but the last 5 years had me thinking about a PC.
As a PlayStation player I find myself playing more Microsoft games than Sony's and I'm actually excited about the Halo remake.
We'll see how the next Ps6 goes but at the moment I'm not excited about any ps exclusive or first party.
They have great games that people play on other platforms, but their Win 11 copilot AI, and Xbox brand and services are overpriced garbage.
Just to remind people: Gears, Halo, Forza, Doom, Skyrim, Fallout, Cod and Minecraft... Ori, Crash and Spyro... Warcraft.
These are insanely strong IPs.
Sony has a great console, but their game output is garbage, including Ghost of Antifa that nobody plays, Concord, God of war online, Spiderman online, Last of us...Onli...
They are copying designs that are already on the market and putting a price tag on it.

Nokia, Zune, Skype, Surface tablets, now Xbox... and as I see it Windows 11 is also horrible and loosing market.
Now they want to make a console that will use Steam store so Game pass and paying for online is also doomed.
Their game division is living off of legacy x360 franchises and live service slop.

This is such a false narrative. This is 10% increase in game spending and 24% increase on hardware is for the total american market... not just Sony.
This is due to a Switch 2 release and not Ghost of Yotei and Borderlands (both trash).

Also Sony is awfully quiet on sale numbers or any kind of acolyte for the GOY.
My prediction is that Yotei will sell around 4-5 mill till the end of this year... more like 4.
