All I know is that Monster Hunter Wilds runs pretty good on PS5 while on PC (with all compute power and hardware options) has problems.
Basically, Sony can't put standard FSR4 into PS5 pro... so they are doing some sort of costume (give me this, remove that) option.
The upscaler chip doesn't have enough compute units for regular FSR4.
Something like PS5 doesn't have enough compute units for proper RDNA3.
Will it matter??? Who knows...
