Sony put CDs on the map with the Playstation. Then they did the same with DVDs
They didn't start the use of CDs, but they def made it big time. Sega did alot of things that we use now if you think about it. (SegaTV,Sega CD, Console Online Gaming). They were just too ahead of their time.
