Super Mario World wasn't on N64. Read my post.
The reason all Nintendo games are highly rated is because 90% of reviewers grew up with a Nintendo system. They are solid games, but always the saaaame thing... since like N64.
Company needs to change up.
Namco... they keep on bringing big budget 'western focused' games with ZERO marketing. Horrible way to PUBLISH a game. These games already made their game, just release them with your usual 'no marketing' and have them sell about 100k. That should pay off the translation and release and put extra cash in your pockets, unlike Enslaved and Splatter House, which probably made you lose money.
Length is objective. I have played short games longer than I have played longer 80+ hour games.
Example, I only played through Dragon Quest 8 once, logged in about 40 hours (give or take).
I spent about 80 hours, of my life, playing Streets of Rage 2, a game that would take about 2 hours to beat.
Also, developers should just end a game when it should be closing up. I hate when they drag it on. I also hate the 'GAMES HAVE GOTTEN SHORTER...
Will be fine, the game has a year of development ahead of it.

I just got it on STEAM. Downloading as we speak. Can't wait to try it out.

Seriously, they aren't. I think games are more simple, meaning you beat them faster. But actual content is 'more' for your buck.
Compare something like Uncharted 2 to something like Mega Man X (my favorite SNES game as a kid), 10 hour gameplay single player vs. 2-3 hour single player game, depending on skill.
