tech is advancing fast, we already have PS3 graphics on the NGP, i can see mobiles getting real console quality games in a year or 2, right now we already have dual cores coming through, its not that far of a stretch to think mobiles could be running these games soon, xperia play 2 perhaps?
if you want to use that logic the xperia play is running android, along with hundreds of other android phones, so i guess your still right, they are not really comparable

the games available thought the PS suite as well as other devs mean it can do well
actually its running android 2.3 AKA gingerbread not 3.0 honeycomb, that for tablets
technology wise its running a second generation snapdragon with adreno 205 GPU, not quite tegra 2 but still good

im guessing you played it on your 40 inch HDTV? even PS2 games dont look great like that (hence HD remakes)
but on a 4 inch screen i would assume it doesnt look to bad
im just hoping the PS suite delivers, once it gets rolling and gets a few decent games the xperia play will be quite a gaming beast, add some idie games and games from the likes of EA and this could be something special
compared to most android/IOS games SE is not far off i guess
i heard SE toned down their skin on top of android so updates can come in a more timely manner
