why didnt M$ just acquire first or second party studios instead of buying games from multiplat devs?
if they wanna get consumer support for there next console they would have had a much better chance if they just fixed the RRoD or atleast reduced it to industry standards
now, when ever the next xbox comes around everyone is gonna be wherry of ANY hardware issues that might come up and some will just skip the console completely
someone will spin it as a "coincidence" or "nintendo already planned this"

microsoft have nothing NEW to add when the holidays come, being the cheapest console is not enough any more when the PS3 is so close to the same price and the wii is finally getting a price cut
im willing to bet that microsoft will have the lowest holiday sales out of the 3 console makers this year

my main problem with this is halo ODST is a $60 DLC and some people seem to think its better then killzone 2, thats there opinion but if it was uncharted 2 VS killzone 2 atleast there in the same ball park in terms of money used to develop, gameplay length etc....
and of course halo has a MASSIVE fanbase from the original xbox while killzone 2 and uncharted are new comers still getting recognition
glorified DLC cannot compare to a game that has had as much polish and quality as killxone 2
the only thing its got over killzone 2 is sales

i guess they should be like the 360 fans, buy glorified DLC at full price and watch it sell well on brand name alone.....nah, i would rather buy full games

final fantasy in japan has a good chance and then theres GT5 coming soon
so really, sony does not need to beg for anything
killzone 2 doesnt have the legion of fans and the previous success of the other halo games
and theres also the fact that there are ALOT of 360 owners who buy halo just by name alone
your not really thinking about all the slim owners who might want to play some PS2 games

all the best exclusives are on my console of choice and the multiplats are equal/improved to the point where i am fine choosing it on the PS3
