just to reply to your comment, i would expect GOW3 to sell 2-3 million which is not bad at all, also, dont underestimate GT5's selling potential

its not like final fantasy fans in japan waiting for the next gen installment, we are talking about a sequel to a game that came out 2 years ago, i would have thought everyone who bought MW1 would buy the second without much new comer interest?
and its a big if, consumers do a little research and find out about all the extra stuff you have to buy in order to play MW2 the way you want on the 360 e.g wifi adapter, $50 xbox live, charge and play kits (even arcades come with a wireless pad now) then the tides may turn
but as of today, i see the consoles like this, 360 owners like there FPS while PS3 owners like everything else, remember, just my opinion
im sure GG no this so expect a better story in killzone 3, nothing else was lacking in my opinion
besides that, i thought it was a brilliant game
because killzone 2 didnt do anything new (except bring the best console graphics at the time) it dissapointed the author? he even said he quite enjoyed it at first so what really changed?
i knew the game would look good but the detail in JUST THE DEMO is insane
and theres still more then 4 months till release....
as a sony fan i have taken note of the PS3 losses as well as sales but here is where most 360 fanboys have forgotten how sony operate, even with the the PS1 and PS2 sony started the same
they introduced new, expensive tech, initial sales where slow, they probably lost money at first because the hardware was still new and expensive, a few years down the road the hardware gets cheaper, sales spike, sonys playstation division is suddenly in profit once more

i think the PS3 just caters to every audience or at least tries to in fact all 3 consoles try to branch to other audiences
i no what im about to say was not a part of the discussion but with a PC you are missing out on some 360 exclusives and ALL ps3 exclusives

even this year PC gamers have got multiplats and some PC exclusives worth mentioning, spore and sims 3 and some decent MMO's come to mind but thats it which, probably says more about me or the caliber of PC games available

@skeleton, the first PS3 game i played online was warhawk, as far as i can remember there were no issue that requiered a patch just to play properly, unlike gears 2
what internet provider does not include a wifi enabled router in there package now a-days? and even then, there so cheap to buy its not a issue
