actually your still wrong
your exact words were 'No one plays MMOs for the graphics'
the fact that i didn't play WoW because of its graphics already proves you wrong, if you think i just made this up on the spot look up at my previous comment in this thread where i said i didn't play WoW because of the graphics
i agree 100%
there were even stories on n4g along time ago about a Korean or Chinese guy who played so long (in one sitting)that he died
i also thought about the addiction side of WoW when my friend was trying to persuade me, thinking back, im really glad i decided not to play
the sh!t graphics were a blessing in disguise
i played city of heroes for about 3 and a half years, the graphics are nothing special but if it looked like WoW i would have sold my account on ebay, day one of playing
yes the community keeps you there but before you find one, decent graphics, gameplay and story all come first, if these things are not there you wont stick around long enough to find a good community
thats what i said to my online friend who was trying to get me into WoW
i knew blizzard was making alot of money but damn more then a billion a year from one game......and the graphics still look like that? WTF?
@Dead_Cell, thats not really an excuses, i have played other MMOs that had decent graphics but players we able to tone down the graphic detail if it was to demanding for the PC, blizzard could easily do this with the insane amount of cash they have
why is this even being discussed? its a matter of opinion
this smells like flamebait
for people who did not read the article this does not bring any new info to light, its literally the same thing we all already knew
more failure from SCEE
at least their consistent
in most stories like this the game is usually taken away which sets of a insane teen but his dad was only offering advice.....jesus
although im not into competitive multilayer I would probably give this a go if I was
You can still auto level the whole squad including your self so it has not changed in that aspect, im not bashing it i have already completed the game and im playing again
@twoface, if you pick and choose only the good your not telling the whole story, why not add the negatives as well?
i have downloaded a blu ray movie, most of them are ripped to 1.5GB depending on the length, i have downloaded 360 games, alot of them were worthy of my bandwidth and came in at 7,5GB but i wont be downloading PS3 games any time soon, to much investment + running cost (good quality blu ray disks wont be cheap)
pretty much, then theres blu ray drives, using the correct blu ray disc (if its anything like the PS2 or 360 it wont just accept any cheap disk)
alot of people have slow internet connections or/and capped download limits so downloading a 25+ game is not possible
there are probably other things i have missed but basically this cat not be done by your average joe without heavy investment and we dont even no how he hacked it yet
bjornbear hit the nail on the head, if the game is made with a multiplat future in mind i can see it going to the 360 but if its optimized for the PS3 and takes full advantage of its hardware and blu ray it would be hard to port
unless im wrong, this gen sony has not lost any 3rd party exclusives and im talking about 3rd party games that have been released e.g. MGS4, haze, lair....cant think of anything else
damn, i have to wait 3 days longer then the US
even you must no that the demo is from an earlier build and does not represent the current state of the game?
or just admit that you dont have a PS3...
i liked ODST enough to finish it but if you want to talk about a 2.5 game, there it is
@below, same thing could be said about mass effect 2 (another game i enjoy) before i played it all i new was the story was different to the original, THATS ALL, my point is we dont no enough for anyone to call it 2.5, ...
lol @ more athletic then you average joe
hes more like a geneticly modified monkey who has been trained to climb...anything and interact with humans really well, this is a compliment to drake btw, not a bash
i think budokia 3 (or whatever its called) atleast got to the 70-80 mark
it was and still is the only almost complete DBZ game, all the others have something missing, if its not a saga its characters
by definition if the story is told bad then the story is bad, if bungie, the makers of the game/story tell it bad, what hope does anyone else have?
i agree with you to a point, GOW gameplay is decent but nothing special, but where it does shine is the story which i think beats most clique RPGs (the world is coming to an end....again and you have to stop it)
and then theres the boss battles, its not just the scale its that the bosses are almost a interactive level in them selfs, not alot of games in this genre have even done let alone done it so well
these are just pics with no info to state what PC hardware was used, no resolution, or in game tweaking was mentioned either (in English)
i have an okay PC running ME2 with a GTS 250 (not the best card out there) running at 1440 x 900 resolution and it looks better then these pics
im just saying dont look at these pics and automatically think they are equal
