well, all those devs you mentioned are under sonys umbrella in some shape or form
i think nintendo dont do this because none of there first parties push the wii, even if they did would anyone notice? i doubt the casual's would even care
microsoft are more interested in getting 3rd party exclusives
and 3rd parties have no real reason to work with each other especially if there both releasing games in the same genre
cost is a factor but pleasing the fans is also worthwhile
KOTOR was awesome, the twist at the end was just so good
jak 2 also deserves its place, i was looking for a game to rent and with only slim picking to choose from i reluctantly went with jak 2 and im so glad i did
maybe naughty dog will take a break from the uncharted series (only for a little while) and bring jak back
in terms of content your comparing an RPG to a hack and slash
i dont agree with the list but it lost all hope of being decent when it added MGS, we have seen and heard NOTHING, no pics, no cgi, no gamplay, kojima is not even fully committed and somehow games like TLG and GT5 dont make the cut?

alot of that was to hard to understand, the rest sounds awesome though
the numbers are not great on all consoles except the wii and DS, no surprise to be honest except i thought the 360 would do better on home turf
might as well get a laptop that does everything this does and more (except touch) for a fraction of the price
after seeing a video i cant even come up with a counter, it is just a massive ipod touch
its the same reason people buy MW2 without seeing if the game is worthy or not
they both sell on pure hype alone

simply put, no, use one engine that can achieve better graphics but have low, medium and high graphic settings available, pretty much what it has now but when you put it on high it actually looks much better, alot of MMOs already do this

it would not be an overhaul though, they could clearly state that the update is just for players who have PC's capable of running better GFX and anyone who wants to stay the way they are can do so
i agree with the community comment but i want it all, there is no real reason to compromise graphics

- previous SWG players
- bioware actually trying to make it decent and it looks good so far
i no you cant reply to this but i will post it anyway, first, if you dont mean what you say dont say it, second, the point of my previous post was that if i was not willing to play WoW because of its graphics then there are probably others
and i will reverse what you said to further prove my point, you choose MMOs for the community does not make the millions who dont play WoW for the graphics void

the thing is you need high end equipment to achieve that level on those games, the investment is not worth it for a moderate improvement
when this can be done cheaply we will have something to talk about
the only thing they may need help with is graphics and even then ratchet looked good but they have loads of experience there, not so much with resistance plus the art direction is completely different
GG helping out can only make resistance 3 a better game
