if the 360 can be hacked for so long and still have decent software sales no dev is gonna abandon the PS3 because of piracy
some games already do that
in away, if the PS3 had to be hacked this is probably the best way for sony, a patch could make this jailbreak obsolete
if this was a hardware hack there would probably be no solution and the PS3 would end up being fully hacked like the wii and 360
you dont need to solder any wires unless you want to jtag and even then you need a very specific 360 version before that will even work
the vast majority of 360's only need cheap tools (no soldering needed) to modify the dvd drive firmware and its easy enough to open the console
dont spread misinformation, the dreamcast didn't even need to be hacked, you only needed to burn the game and play it
thats how everything is mass produced anyway
it would have to be equal amounts of phone and PSP otherwise someone is gonna skip this because its lacking something
