Context is a wonderful thing
@Soldierone
Relax
He never said it doesn't happen, calm down
Disappointing - Failing to fulfill someone's hopes or expectations.
Don't understand where there would be hypocrisy
Need another Banjo, make it happen
Although it's not a mature game...so maybe next time I guess
I was going to use a title like that for a blog post, arggg.
Whatever I'm still going to use it.
I'm not done with Zombies...now what?
"As soon as the characters were revealed in the ‘Last of Us’ world premier trailer, it was obvious that the game was a Naughty Dog game."
Really? I thought the Naughty Dog logo before the trailer revealed that...
Good stuff, I actually don't like it when games tell me to look at specifically what they want to show me in order to further the story, best example is Uncharted 2/3. That game is the fine line between game and movie and it's growing more movie based with every iteration and I don't like that. When I play it, I always think yeah this is great the characaters are awesome the story is great but it's not really that fun of a game, there are so many parts where you're on rail...
I'm fine with them too as long as it doesn't penalize other players too. And that's what is happening with Final Stand and Hollow bullets.
Thanks man and thanks to the whole N4G staff of course
How many firmware updates has Sony had? LOL ridiculous..
A 9.9...lol
I can't believe something like this even got approved
The whole point is to go away from a decimal type of grading system into something more broad, because what really differentiates a 9.7 game from a 9.8 game? sure you can be a smart ass and say to use a .1 to 2.0 scale (which, you're right, is a 20 point scale) but I said to use a 20 point scale from the current norm in video game reviews which is typically out of 10's, and what this review is out of, because a 20 point scale makes more sense than a 100 point scale.
...
Good review, but I have a question about your numerical score. Why did you decide to make it on a 100 point scale system?
Those never really made sense to me, what makes you decide a game is a 9.8 as opposed to a 9.7 or a 9.9? Seems so arbitrary to me, why not just round it off and use a 20 point scale system ( 9.0, 9.5, 10)
The Super Meat Boy achievement is probably the hardest thing ever to get...And I did it.
Especially given the fact that he remained totally calm during the Bethesda lawsuit. That reason alone pretty much gives Notch more credibility since he didn't freak out over the lawsuit but over the Yogscast, so there must be some truth in it.
Well I said it to give greater context to the whole concept of this blog post because that's the foundation I'm relying on. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but surely reiterating doesn't bother you that much to the fact where you completely discount something.
If you can overcome the hurdle of that one sentence and read the rest of the blog then I'm sure that it won't disappoint since you are, seemingly, very keen on psychology and it's definitio...
@Drake
Yeah it seems that nintendo games get a free pass from review sites, but I've never played any games for the Wii so maybe they're right.
Number 9 makes no sense
