I find it funny that we have to ask questions like this. They say 4k, but actually is 1440p or whatever. For example.
I don't really care about the drama. If I think it looks good, I will probably consider buying it. Like any other game.
Nice job
I hope you are joking. either that, or you should really think about what you just said.
@hvaguy : I hope you replied to the wrong person since your response doesn't have anything to do with what I said.
Well.. It needs to work.
Would be weird if rdr 2 didn't get released on pc this time when gta 5 was a success and still selling good.
And still, Gta 5 was profitable on pc for some reason. AAArrrggggghhh
Making it a franchise would be silly of them. What would they bring with a new game anyway? racing? more players? some other crazy mode? Nahhhh.. They can easily add other crazy modes in the game already. So what is the point?
''runs optimized'', I wouldn't say sub 30 fps or bad frame pacing or other problems in genral is being optimized. Very rarely I see games on consoles being stable 30 with good frame pacing. bf4 was so good at launch. bloodborne is so beautiful being stuttery. AC unity.. etc ...etc . Every time my ass
Pssst.. SinkingSage! ppl around here like being delusional.. stahp making sense!
pc has so many more advantages than just extra frames and textures... But if your friends are on consoles, not willing to change platform is understandable.
Twinsanity And Ctr are my favorites (And still playing CTR from time to time). Not the biggest fan of the first 3 games,. Not that they are bad, But I rather play something like rayman legends or mario. They often have better precision to the platforming, and 60 fps has a lot to do with it. Also easier to get a sense of speed with those games while crash is a bit limited with his abilites.
Xbox is irrelevant if you are willing to buy a pc (since all xbox games are now coming to pc). Best place for third parties and there are also games you wont get anywhere else, I would say Ps4 and pc is the best platform combination right now.
Better visuals are just one of many reasons to play on pc. I play on pc (for the most part) because of all the options. Not satisfied with the framerate? lower the settings. Sick of the narrow field of view? go and change some values. 144hz freesync/ g-sync gaming. emulators. I could go on and on.
The amount of motion blur and your input device of choice can also make the game feel choppy or smooth.
This is most likely because of the frametiming not being consistent, even if the framerate is. Like you said, nvidia's half refresh rate can help, but doesn't seem to work correctly in all games, and it can introduce some extra input lag. Rivia tuner framelimiter is also an alternative.
Not really a problem I'm having since I'm always trying to get 60fps or more. G-sync/freesync should also help since it changes the refresh rate dynamically so it matches your ...
Might pick this up eventually. I have played all previous games, but that was some time ago. Nowadays I play on pc with an 144hz monitor, so going back to 30 fps will most likely feel weird and unresponsive. But according to digital foundry it is a very stable 30fps at least, which is very uncommon for console games :S
@mark3215uk Don't lie to yourself.
