Almost complete. Nintendo dumped Sony during an E3 and anounced that they are going to work with Phillips (a Dutch multinational making electronica for household and the industrie) and Sony was left with with just an prototype.The boss of Sony then asked one of theyr engineers (Ken Kutaragi) to make a gamingdevice of that prototype.
And so was the first Playstation been developed and born. The rest is history.
