Has talked about getting free codes for games on several occasions. Watch some of his first videos of his series you'll see.

Who cares who is making the decision, if your boss tells you to write an article you write the article.
You don't have to play a game for a month or a week. Many not even huge YouTubers get hundreds or even thousands of dollars for making a single video. On Twitch most bounties are for one hour, or at most one hour two or three times in a week.
And Twitch partners who only get a 150 average viewers per stream can get paid to do bounties so let's...
It's funny that people try to act like there is no money trading hands anywhere in the industry when daily they are surrounded by commercials, YouTubers and Twitch Streamers getting paid to play games and say positive things ect. But no webpage would ever write an article praising one product over another for money (or free goods), that's ridiculous.
Well whatever helps them sleep at night.
Septic I am not going to argue with you any further.
But let me say I think it's adorable that you seem to believe that people are above personal bias and that people are so noble that even if Microsoft offered money or just access that everyone would refuse it out of pure chivalry.
But that's not how the real world works, in the real world people have bills to pay or wages to pass out or they might just want something for free like early access t...
Yes
Septic, it's not a "new narrative" people have said DF and Eurogamer especially Richard have been on Microsoft side since way back on PS3. It's hardly a new opinion, and people see it continuing evidence of it all the time still.
Ya know, it's funny I haven't really talked to anyone even people with xboxs (outside of a few people on this site) that say they really understand why Microsoft would do this or thinks it's a good idea. Yet in the past 72 or so hours nearly every major gaming website has run nearly identical articles with nearly the exact same talking points and title.
It really shows how Microsoft is trying to use it's money to control the narrative.
Awesome, might have to pick this up. I already have all of them but the upgraded version might be nice to own too.
OMG DAY 1
Cross gen games are not bad, but being a first party console developer and saying your not going to have any games that take advantage of your expensive "next gen" console for two years is dumb.
Don't act like you don't understand what the issue here is.
First off SSJ27 clearly doesn't speak for PS fan judging by the fact he's getting downvoted. Ghosts is a PS4 game, that will be BC with PS5.
And what are you even on about with MLB.. Who cares about MLB...
What people are saying isn't that cross gen games are bad what they are saying is NOT having any fully next gen games that take advantage of the new hardware that people are going to be paying money for two years is dumb.
Yes, Sony has never released a console without launch games. This is a dumb question.
And it's even more silly when you consider that they apparently have at least TWO YEARS head start to release games that take advantage of the new hardware.
It's so funny, I watched the podcast where it was Richard and Linneman and I was surprised Linneman forced Richard to be honest. And there is such a stark contrast to this article which is nothing but Richard reading off Microsoft's cue cards.

One would hope a new Halo game could sell a few million consoles in the first 2 years...
I mean if you think Microsoft can't sell more than a few hundred thousand consoles just in the launch month then you should be worried about other aspects of your favorite brand.
How about you read what you said and apply it to yourself.
I jumped through hoops to provide every single thing you asked for and more. And your final comment is just
"Your wrong, I'm right na-na"
You have provided absolutely nothing that shows I am wrong.
