Not everybody likes competitive gaming, some prefer cooperation and teamwork (and no working as a team to shoot someones head off doesn't fall into this preference).

Almost all matches I've had online are against Ken it's like people don't see the other characters or something, pretty funny really.

I bet it'll be release before FFxiii is lol, good thing us final fantasy fans are used to waiting eh.

Why not just do a video conference stream of their new content live from Japan? Is it really that hard for such huge companies to set up.

More original ip like Alan wake hopefully and less like gears and halo (i mean they have plenty of those already right).

Oh lucky us we get a "sneak peak" ... I was pretty tempted to import this for the demo but what with blu ray regions being what they are it'd be pretty expensive for a demo and blu ray that won't even play here.

Best just import the full thing in winter I guess.

spot on it definitely has that vibe

Awesome stuff thank you. SOTC used the ICO character model as a place holder for the main character early in development when it was called NICO, perhaps it's being done here as well.

Either way the interaction with the creature looks brilliant

You know timed exclusives wouldn't be so annoying if they were actually announced as them instead of constant PR garbage pretending they are full exclusives.

Back up your game data to an external hardrive people, better safe than sorry.

That said perhaps people aren't aware that this is even possible or are just not tech savy enough to care.

Yeah we in the EU are used to waiting I mean the expanded TOV has been announced for PS3 and we haven't even got the original version for 360 yet (apparently it's Due for release on 03/07/2009 according to play.com lol).

Here's hoping for less shooting more platforming :)

You ever heard of Rockband?

MS beat Sony to the punch in Europe with the equivalent of this move in May 2008, I guess everyone has forgot already though huh lol

"Winner!" a decent Ghost in the shell game, this needs to happen!

I don't believe MS plans to be successful in Japan (as it really isn't realistic), what they do plan to do is slow down ps3 adoption rate in that country by snapping up lots of timed exclusive Japanese games.

It's a good business move by MS though it is certainly annoying from a gamers perspective.

So judging by the responses here you actually want people to get virus on their computers just cause you don't use the same os?!?! Well it doesn't get any more spiteful or pathetic than that.

If he cared about the fans he'd release it with advent children in the west same as japan.

The game has been in development 2+ years on ps3 and when it was announced for xbox last year they stated they had not even started that version.

They are obviously waiting for a multiplat game so they can bundle the demo on both consoles for maximum profit (though of course they have to actually release a game on ps3 for that to become a possibility ...)

FF fans a...

Hmmmm what happened to the Playstation 3 version will not be affected, work will not start on 360 until after FF XIII is released in Japan.

Seems like Square Enix is back peddling again though it isn't that surprising I mean the game was announced as exclusive (with constant reminders of only on) for 2 + years of development and with little to show the public (remember closed mega theaters) when they finally reveal something officially it's on a platform that was never even menti...

Well thats nice to see

Shenmue is a great gift to gamers from the industry and in my opinion the best thing Sega ever did for us but from a business perspective they just can't afford to make that kind of risk again.

It cost them $70 million in production costs making it the most expensive games ever made until just last year when GTAIV finally topped it with $100 million.

At least Sega are still dishing out original title like Valkyria Chronicles.

It's a fighting game, seriously the fun is always about playing with human opponents.

If you have no friends around then just practice your moves or something in the demo.
