The reason my friends and I didn't bother getting one was because of the game line-up wasn't that great. In addition, there's the black screen of death with texts, I'll get one this summer. To be blunt i hope 3DS comes out with a newer version with and better game line-up to boot in the summer.
A big list of 3rd party is dead weight to me, if there are no good games tag to those 3rd party. I'll pick up the Wii-U next year if he's true too his words, ps4, xbox3 are still on my list. ;-p ....
