These are rabid, so called articles with some of the worst captures on both consoles, used to drum up hit's from unsporting fans.

Your Screen shot's are about as good as your story.

Oh! wait! there is no story!

Pull this crap off here!

With video games becoming the main source of entertainment these day's.

I hate to keep comparing the rating system to movies, But I have seen alot worse on a television regular broadcast, than in a video game. (M-rated video games sold to adult) TV shows can be watched by anyone that know's how to use a remote.

They better not censor Heavey Rain.

In comes mom and Dad to the gaming market.

Feeling safe with the G,PG rated games, Price is good, comfortable with the Controller, getting in shape and feeling healthy, enjoying parties and entertaining friends.

Its pretty easy to see Home Enertainment Consoles will be taking over television for past time, or as I like to call them (HEC).

(Like this is a HEC of alotta fun)

Once Ma and Pa learn the basics, Like with the Wii, as with ...

Time-Warner did the same thing as was mention early in this post.

The customer base was furious, complaining, writing letters, and threaten to drop services.
This all happened as TW purchased all the little Cable companies.

Time-Warner finally told the people it would not happen, and the TW customer thought they won the battle.

TW curbed their bandwidth by dropping the news-groups. most customers were not even aware they were there or free....

Valve:
I think the least of your worries should be the PS3 community after a comment like that.

You should worry more about your peers and other developer's and potential investors.

Very Very Unprofessional.. Remark!

This game has the appearance of solid fun, as I glare at the videos, it's very pleasing to.

You can tell when a developer wants to push there boundries.

I'll be happy to see this game come out, March seems so far away now.

Keep it up DICE.

Ok. I skimmed some if it.
It just appears to be just a adjustable mesh of displacement maps.
Bump mapping with a twist.

I think most good Developers have their own in house code for this.
Thats what makes a game look distinct, instead of generic.

Fun read.

I understand what its function is.
But when it comes down to adding Poly's, I just question the overhead.

Purification of the software, that's always a plus.

5919d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Looks more like a form of displacement mapping to me, atleast according to the wire frame models. More poly's mean more CPU.

Ya know, if more companies would work on lighting, Bump mapping hi-res could go a long way, and the poly count would drop, increasing draw distance,FPS and cpu usage.

1 horsepower is only so powereful, sure you can try to make it a horse and a half, with modifactions.
But 2 horsepower will always beat 1 horsepower. (OVERHEAD cost)

Appears that little Timmy is watching over the fence to see Bobby has some new toys to play.

Mom say's "You can't go over to Bobby's and play"
Little Timmy pouts "Why?"
Just because, that's why. replied Mom

MS does not want Gold member's looking at Platinum trophies.

Timmy finally snuck over to Bobby's later that day.

As the moon begins to rise, Timmy walks slowly home, shouting back to Bobby. "...

Most gamers today have DSL or cable for there internet connection.

Back in the late 90's and early 2000, most gamer's were still using dialup to game online.

Dedicated servers at that time were pretty much the best way to game online. But with the high speed internet we have now P2P in not as bad as you would think.

longevity of current console games can still exist with most games being P2P without worry of servers failing or shutting down in the...

Does not seem like a mystery to me. It's well past due.
Heck, I would be giving reward points to premium Gold account members, to use to keep the their account active to.

in 3 months, you'll want to renew your gold membership.

Seems a few of people that have had the xbox for a while now picked up a Playstation 3 to add to there enjoyment.

Yes, there are perks about being Gold, or a forced $50.00 a year, spend here on live with your pay to ...

I think gamer's are sick of all the bogus reviewer's and fanboy articles that are written just to get hit's on a web site and find out the game is not what you thought it was, so someone can fill there pockets up. The old saying goes, "Time is Money."

Notice how people are not so fast to jump on the bandwagon anymore.
They take there time and money serious, because , some have matured, some are casual gamers and the world economy is not all that hot right now. ...

I like gaming and online, but if I have to pay to play...I would not play anymore.

The internet is FREE.
You already pay your ISP provider for this service.

Paying $50.00 every year to play (However many games you own) $65.00 games.

If you can't see what's wrong with this, then yes, I say raise the price to $100.00 .

The Xbox live, no longer exist for me.
Why did you think MS pushed Online Gaming so hard..!

All of you claiming the old school games ran better at 60 Plus FPS, why was that..?

It was because you saw the same Frame drawn more than once to keep up with the slow refresh rate of your monitor.

Thats why most of the old school games had screen tears, unless you had a high Frame rate game.
Some of this still applies today with slow refresh rates on TV's.

Response time from the controller to the game has nothing to do with Frame rate. <...

Damn, both sides, pro and cons.

The comments have been some of the best I have read on N4G. Not sure what kept me moving to the next paragraph, a jab here, a fact there or maybe because the fanboy count was very low, not so much trash to weed out.

Educated people Rock!

There is no such thing.

For one, why do we look for people that do not like the same games.
It should be what you like in a game not what another person likes.

Thats what online is suppose to be, right!
They have the game, you have the game just enjoy the game.

Don't go looking for a fight because your taste in games is different than mine.

all games are good, and all games are bad.
Different people, different taste....
