Microsoft bit off more than they could chew !
Microsoft is using Natal to push there future Voice/touchsence on the consumer. Which is kinda cool. I can only imagine the cost of the monitor. But it still is not going to be available for a long time. Its Like a giant Ipad, with apps. The tech is cool, but I dont see a console with enough power yet. Would be good for PC.. Gimicky..for now
If Sony does not make it work on all TV's, it will be a very big mistake and a very slow start to profit on their side.
Hopfully they will make it work with the Photos also.
Put out a 3D digital camera for mini clips and pictures.
Cha Ching....
I'm guessing he means Game Console's.
They will be call- Home Entertainment Centers.
No longer just for Games..
I was viewing 3D back in the 80's, using the Commodore Amiga computer. Had the LCD shutters, my monitor was not 3d ready, this is just a hype term they use. It's just software and hardware sync of two screens laced together, turning on and off, the higher the refresh rate, the less it flickers. Really just about any current TV could work. Lightwave even let u render 3D animations to view with the shutter glasses back then, along with a couple of games that could be played. It was pretty aweso...
I can't believe no one said anything about the 3d glasses at the start. PEW PEW PEW...
Hey MicroSoft, I validated your number's.. Please throw some money my way.
I'm not a Fan of MS, but a corparation will try to improve products, and in this case they did. How could then not with a previous failure rate that high.
Just can't say how.
And no, it's not from a friend of a friend. Frecking Idiot!
The failure rate is probly more like 8% now, which ia way better.
The older chipset was around 55% failure.
Microsoft is not real high on my fun list, but they have improved the Xbox RROD.
IT's a Fact!
I think Sony might be looking at bulk selling for the customer.
Music, games, maybe video will be offered in bulk for a yearly fee.
So if you want Premium Music, limited downloads, monthly or yearly fee.
Same for DLC games.
Kind of a CORE, but with what you want.
At least I hope so.
About time Sony took this step.
I, for one am glad all of you have to buy your software.
Sony tried to keep everything reasonable, just using core and home.
but, because of all the DLC (Sharing) pirates, they lost revenue.
Now maybe we can see some good games, update's and whatever else is coming to the future of the PSN.
You can lead a horse to water.
But you can't make him drink.
If you got the money why not.
I'll pickup Bad Company 2 when it comes out.
I am going to MW2 also...
It will make parents take a closer look at the rating on games.
When it hits the media.
It's not that good for IW, those are sales lost.
But, thats the price to pay for educating the public.
Not that sales will be bad at all for this game.
19.1 Did I ?
I have no problem with this level,
If your rate M age wise playing it.
If you have all your marbles in your bag.
If you know the diffrence between real and not real.
It's no diffrent than a movie testing your value's and drawing emotion from it.
Valve is not only hurting their bussiness.
Yet giving a bad impression about all devolpers, by a lack of skill spouting some careless babble toward a specific group of gamers.
I glad to see someone stepped up to the plate.
This just might cost you Valve.. Investors dont like the water stirred unless its with lumps of sugar.
A flamboyant show does not make a great product.
A great product makes the show flamboyant !
