legaia 2 duel saga on ps2 wasnt so bad, but it wasnt as good as the first imo, despite many cool ideas. That said, I would buy anything Legaia related day 1 lol. Same goes for Dragoon, Wild Arms and Bloody Roar...

you're thinking of deep down, and its still in development for ps4. open beta coming this summer. Keep in mind though, the game still hasn't been confirmed for a western release.

Well the xillia sequel is being released, and the next flagship title (zestiria) has already been announced for worldwide release, as well as the rerelease of both symphonia titles that came out a couple weeks ago. Plenty to look forward to for the tales series

yea, thats apparently not going to be the case anymore, hence why they were mentioned. guilty gear xrd has been announced for ps4 and ps3, no xbox announcement, and a good chance there wont be one since the new blazblue coming out in march is ps3 exclusive as well.
Same here. I'm sure that we'll see a bit more of tales of in the west thanks to this, maybe even get games the same year japan does(doubt it tho lol)

well, based off their Xbox One reveal event, which they marketed toward the general populace despite the majority of media outlet reps/journalists in attendance being gaming centric, Not to mention the fact that all the DRM and used game policy questions and such prior to the reveal were handled quite sloppily, I'd say yea, they don't know what they're doing. My wife and I are hardcore gamers, been together 6 years(just got married last year) Daughter just turned 1 and she knows how to properly hold and use a ps3 controller lol, though she can't make heads or tails of the functions lol. Got another baby due in November, I'm on the fast track to creating my own mini-army of fighting game pros :)

I always look at the article pic at the bottom right corner of the article. The title actually threw me off as well, then I saw that it was an opinion piece, and set my expectations accordingly :p
To be honest, I wouldn't have thought casuals even cared about the new Xbox reveal, let alone E3. So catering to 'Mr Casual' in this event is kinda pointless. At least right now. Word of mouth will spread about how great the XB1 is at t.v./movies/helping you pee/ whatever other crap it does, but all this event did is shy gamers away from this system. They should have known that probably about 80 to 90 percent of the viewers would be gamers foremost, because as the Xbox to date is ...
To be fair, DMC 1-3 were all ps2 exclusive, they didnt go multi until nero popped up. And MGS is widely associated by most as a sony exclusive franchise, despite its nintendo releases. So essentially they are "Sony All-Stars"
