I think it's pretty obvious they were paid to make it exclusive just like MS with GTA IV and the 2 DLC's.

This doesn't affect me at all as I was going to buy the X360 version anyway.. you know like most people were.
So of course they wouldn't want people to know. A customer might want a PS3 now but if they heard of a price cut then they would hold off which means Sony could lose out on potential sales of the PS3 at the current price point.
They get all giggity when their favourite exclusive has 0.1% better graphics then -insert random exclusive here-
