All i'm saying is if sony attempts to do a marketing campaign that is as much of a carbon copy of what wii has already done. Then it absolutely going to be embarrassing to watch for anyone who loves that brand.

Since I can't see how when nintendo is giving it's console a metroid, a full fledged mario, A sequel to Sin and Punishment and possibly a new zelda all in one year... That it has failed it's console in any way shape or form.

PS2 has had like 7 games in the last 4 years worth noting and none have sold very well. Which i guess according to you is the best case scenario for PS3 after either N or MS drop a new game rig. Since PS2 was more popular then PS3 by a gargantuan margin.

Sony will probably finally wrestle 2nd place from MS but nintendo? That is most likely not going to happen. The silliness in this article is it seems to claim that on the next console gen for MS and Big N (which sonysaid it will not be taking part in) somehow this will make sony jump to number 1.

Third parties have been delivering in spades lately. That's not a good reason to snuff the system anymore since there is alot to miss now.
I feel like this generation would have been alot more smooth if the PS3 folks weren't so damn vocal. Listen to everything gsme journalists go through these days if they don't give sony games all perfect 10s! It's borderline ridiculous. I admit there are pleanty of games to play on ps3... but the way i feel like the rabid fanbase has acted this gen... I'll pass. Can play all the good stuff used after the fact for pennies after this gen anyway.

Makes a few good points. The game did kindof feel rushed and unfinished and the game was too easy and too short for my taste. Yet if i ignore all that it is a totally fun and unique game. I had more then enough fun playing to make me finish and i feel it had alot of revolutionary ideas buried under it's goofy exterior.

Why is it we keep seeing these articles especially in the same month that Mario Galaxy 2 and a month after Monster Hunter Tri? I mean what is there to hate about the system right now... seriously.
Thank goodness, we didn't need another great wii game that not enough peop-le bought. I hear the main reason sales aren't higher is because so many people want the classic controller bundle it's causing shortages. Look at the price of the bundle on amazon... damn!
Insomniacs style of games would sell amazingly well on a console like wii or ds. The kind of people who play sony systems don't buy colorful cartoon style games. They like mindless violence with precieved adult undertones. That's why those games sell so bad time after time... apparently sony is willing to take the hit though so they can advertise their meager exclusive selection.
Even with the killer reveal lineup they most likely have this year it is almost assured that everyone will continue to pretend they showed nothing and will refuse to admit it even if they do "win" E3.
It's that mentality that is pushing the WHOLE INDUSTRY into casual territory. Expect wiisports knockoffs for all three consoles after this year.
In wii's coming collapse it will still be outselling 360 and ps3. Weird that.
has so much damn hype... it's just another western style FPS. I have yet to see anything about it to make me at all excited about that title. I dunno old west setting is better for movies in my mind. Galaxy 2 on the other hand... now that looks like it's worth the hype.
