Are you confused by the PSP monster hunter getting an HD port on ps3?
There is no news whatsoever to suggest tri will ever be hitting ps3. Maybe the 4th installment tho. Never know.

but it's already confirmed that isn't coming out before this year is over and that's what this story is about. The hardware that will have the best sales by the end of THIS YEAR. Do you honestly just go over to all 3ds stories and gush about a system you still know next to nothing about. Who has a confirmed game lineup of.... uhhh, there's an uncharted game and maybe an AR game with a dinosaur.

You do realize the new systems video specs alone put it way above ps3 in graphical power right? That doesn't even take into account processor and ram capabilities. You have no idea how powerful it is but at this point, if they release it next year... it will be the most powerful console on the market. That's not a slight update... that's a gargantuan increase in power from the previous system.
Not to mention you are not taking into account the rumored expandabilit...
