if that is true and japan numbers do matter... then. Why is it xbox 360 is barely popular and ps3s are selling like mad and yet the worldwide statistics show 360 with a commanding lead over ps3 in hardware and software sales?
the reason is they buy alot of games... for a nation with a fairly miniscule population compared to the rest of the world. They have much different tastes then us and this is a price drop in America/canada not japan.

If they just don't sacrifice too much for graphics (like ghostbusters) brutal legend might be a perfect fit for the wii. Brutal looks like the closest thing to metalocalypse the video game and thusly i support it.

sony is officially cracking under the pressure. Who would buy a new PS2 when you can buy any used one for like 50 bucks. There are far too many in circulation for a price drop to make any difference in sales of the system. Sony must be desperate to keep the wii from surpassing their biggest sale record.
Sonys ps3 is the biggest lead weight in the world. Sony is buckling under it's weight.

N4G a place to disagree with everything. If i said the wii had motion controls, the xbox has a wireless controller and that the sky was blue i bet i'd still get 4 disagrees.
they take the engine and give it improved re 4 graphics, take out the excessive atmospheric effects, tone down the polygons on your enemies, then throw out the co-op aspect. then it could absolutely be a worthwhile experience (maybe even a better then the HD console versions).

Killzone is number 4 after little big planet in north america and totally absent from the overall top 10. Though it is just amazon numbers.

I play my wii constantly as a hardcore gamer. It's true the hardcore are just afraid of gaming reaching everyone. I like my system to have a variety of gaming choices. While wii has had vfew big release titles it has made up for it (at least in my mind) by offering an unprecedented retro gaming library making it the single most backwards compatible system ever. If you are a TRUE gamer, not a gamer who only just started playing games when ps2 came out. You can safely respect and love your wii....
I love how this writer throws in the bit at the end to make it sound like ps3 was the winner when only 2 ps3 games(only 1 exclusive) and one psp game made the cut. This is not something to derive console bias from. LBP was great and innovative. Game developers loved it. that doesn't suddenly mean one console or gaming choice is superior. the poster should have posted the game of the year winner so i wouldn't have to read the rest of the article.
