Last year i think they were only about 1 year into the wii and i think the fact that nintendo wasn't giving enough to third parties before launch really bit em in the butt. Not to mention last E3 most of the next big titles were only just in development. The fact was nintendo just didn't have enough to show. So they showed what they had. The GTA DS title turned out GREAT! I have been playing non stop and that was one announcement that was good last year.

dang, mgs only sold 600,000 and strangely enough monster hunter on psp just barely womped wiifit in japan. we'll see if japan can make this year their year of the ps3... because that's not gonna happen anywhere else and those sony kids love to pat themselves on the back.
looks pretty darn good to me. I noticed how the last screen has an XP earned popup. I am eager to learn what kind of unlockables and such we'll see in the multiplayer experience. I'm still waiting for the ign play video that will supposedly be released tonight.

Well... Selling over 5000 downloads is probably not exactly too difficult with wiiware. the number is even lower throughout the world so I don't see how this is a news story. Nintendo has to make some money posting advertising on nintendo channel for awareness and setting up the listing after all. I am still curious what World of Goo has made to date. I'm pretty sure that title has broken 5000 downloads by now.

For Wiis eventual comeback. Then i get to post those numbers 15 times too. How many japan sales articles are really necessary? Why is it people keep overposting that crap. Not to mention the useless editorials trumpeting ps3's mediocre win. NPD comes out with the same numbers it's had for 2 years and casual gaming is ruining everything. PS3 barely inches above the wii and suddenly david has beaten goliath.

Yamaoka is doing the soundtrack... hellz yeah! I am sincerely hoping this will be awesome. Silent hill and wii seem made for each other. It is also refreshing to see they are focusing so much more on the wii version. I'm gonna officially add this to my list of awesome 3rd party titles coming to the wii. Right next to conduit, masamura and UC 2.
Wouldn't some sort of gameplay be required before it could eclipse a game console. This seems like I would be pretty bored with this 2 minutes out of the box. not to mention how much you would have to pay for something that isn't self contained.

handhelds, while they will forever be very very popular, can never replace consoles. It's like saying that dvds will make going to the movie theatres obsolete. Console games are an immersive experience. You will never be able to take a 40 inch plasma with a 6.1 surround sound system on the road.

It should be interesting to see how this title is recieved upon release. A real strong third party wii FPS and it's about time. I think since one of the biggest bash against KZ2 was it's sluggish controls that is why we will see alot of attacks on the game until it's release. Most the HD gamers might just know somewhere in their minds that the point is far superior to a second joystick.

please tell me they will jam in an RE: 2 remake. If you could get Zero through 2 all retooled and remade on one disc it would 100% justify the 49.99 price tag. That's tons of gameplay... 1 and zero would be pretty sweet but a 2 remake would ice that cake and make it shine.
I don't understand your point sir... dsi is a ds with more toys and an inproved operating system. Graphics weren't improved so it still doesn't have the same graphics as psp but can do many things a psp will never be able to do. As for your battery life comment... my buddy says his dsi lasts about 1-2 days of consistant play without dying and the same goes for my DS lite. Where do you get your info anyhow?
