Ff7 remake did a pretty good job for sure. I'm with you on that, a real old school ff experience with today's graphics would be so dope. Their ditching some of their audience chasing the young. It's been like that for years. These days I get more excited for squares re releases, remasters, and remakes then I do new stuff. Besides octopath.
Why you getting so defensive. Ms definitely helped usher in the digital age there's no doubt and you can't deny it. When you look at the consoles. Xbox players are more then likely the ones to be all and only digital. Where as Sony Nintendo still have alot of players who prefer physical. Sony and Nintendo aren't the ones who have beaten into their bases heads that digital, digital,cloud, digital is the way.

I've got 2 xbox series controllers and 3 ps5 controllers. I usually rotate and don't use the same one over and over, not saying that makes a difference. Two of them are launch whites, my third is a baby blue. The baby blue seems to last longer battery wise though

That statement is definitely more prevalent on the Xbox though. You can't deny that. Sure millions of people on ps might only play cod but remember ps4 alone sold over 100 million consoles. So it's a real small percentage if so. Personally I'd guess there's more console gamers out there who only play fortnite

Raiden I might be wrong but last I thought it cost money to put patches out on consoles.
As far as me paying for it, I'm not all that interested tbh. Not enough to pay for it with older games, and newer games have been pretty decent about it for the most part.
It's not to hard to do and there's youtube videos that break it down really well. ANyway most of us here arent able to break are console anyway due to being up to date on firmware from playing

The ps5 is an animal. It isn't playing. Hoping for some more jrpgs, and sony digging into a wider range of game genres and this machine will go down as one of the best playstations. Consoles for that matter.
Might not be first party but Sony got the best game this year coming out in another month and a half. Nothing this years touching rebirth. Sonys done a great job since idk forever at getting us games year in and year out. So I'll give them a few seasons to get it together. Meanwhile I'm still stacked with games to play. Meanwhile xbox hasn't had any great games to play in years 1st or 3rd party exclusive. They've had some ok to alright type games but nothing on sonys level...
