We haven't had a real breath of fire since mid ps1 or so, megaman has recently got love a few times. Not on a legends level but something. Hell idda taken a remaster of some breath of fires. Something.

Sonys been pretty good about it so if they have a few down years we know what's up. They never told me to wait for e3 multiple years in a row

Idk if I'd label it bug headed. Could be the studio just isn't interested. Sonys got a good track record with series imo. I'm glad we're not on our 6 to 7th uncharted, etc. God of War being a bit different but those numbers it pulled in were impressive.
I've recently replayed and it was great. I didn't best it but replayed quite a bit. People might cry about graphics but the game definitely still has a fun factor.
