I personally think the 30fps thing is being way way way out of proportion. It's not a big deal. Maybe cause I'm an older gamer I've been through the worst of fps. A solid 30 is straight to me.

On the games themselves they've been 60 dollars for 30 years or so. It sucks your absolutely right but it's also extremely surprising they lasted that long at that 60 dollar price point.

There's a lot of great games still coming out these days. , aa titles , indies , and a handful of aaa games are Killin it.
Aside from micro transactions being more common I think gaming is stepping up I swear the ps3 360 Gen was shooter after shooter. I definitely know there were some great ones back then but that's just how I see it.

If you have any interest in star ocean. Check it out. Star ocean was never ever a game that got a huge budget to begin with. Fun as hell though
