It wasn't just cause it wasn't turn based. It felt lacking in so many areas. I enjoy action jrpgs to. Star ocean another one of my top series, I enjoy all different types of rpgs. I've said I'd give ff16 a 7. Say what you want a 7 is still pretty sold.
How I see it, square sold us turn based fans out by trying to appeal to the masses. They've said as much themselves. While I don't like I'm not dumb , I understand. Ff16 just doesn't cut...

Well olmyersio the difference being developing on ps4 is a developer option. The series s is a must to have parity. Huge difference

Starfield is what ms has this year and literally the only reason tonget an xbox at the moment. Everything they've released so far and starfield were coming to ps at one point. Could you imagine if they hadn't bought bethesada.

Crimson I'm right there with you. I enjoy the story and that's about all it did for me. Doesn't help I was fresh off a ff6 playthrough. As an old school fan since ff1 it ff16 doesn't do it for me like it has for some. Good game but just doesn't hold up to alot of the others in the series. That's my honest opinion.

Can you show one actual instance of this happening though instead of generalizing. I didn't like the look of it when I could've played it on gamepass and I still don't like the look of it on ps5. I can't see one instance of someone sitting on it and now praising it. It's all in your head dude. There were people trashing the game but they aren't the same ones praising it.
