lol @ 2010.
i've just checked. it's finally available on the ps3 xmb, but i still can connect to psn and play online just fine without it. so it's still optional to download.
by the way, the story title is confusing... it should say "2.8"
For the record, the nasty Eurogamer critics reviewed the Japanese version already and gave it a 9/10 :))))
.
good :)
I bet if infamous was released for 360 it would have utterly slaughtered prototype 360 sales. infamous is the better game in every way imaginable, this isn't even an opinion, it's a fact.
Haha so somebody is now actually using that pic of Jaffe for news! Awesome! xD
If you wanna know what I'm talking about, go to Jaffe's blog lol.
Oh, yeah the game is definitely a new Twisted Metal. I think they'll announce it on GDC Europe or Gamescom (both are mid August).
good.
It's definitely 100% a new Twisted Metal, there's even no question about it. And I'll buy the crap out of it on day one :D
That upgrade jump from the E3 09 trailer to the recent GT cinematic is almost like a new sequel game upgrade! Just look at the lighting, the colors, the textures!! I'm truly amazed.
Naughty Dogs = KING.
Day zero.
How did this story get approved? It's already on N4G but with a different title :/
your avatar is hot :P
It's funny that some people here are excited about this story. If they are to announce a new game, then expect it to hit Japan first and then be released worldwide 2 years after lol. Just look at the WKC case, so fcuking ridiculous. One of the few games I was very hyped for when they first showed it years back, but now where's it? Vapor? Canned?
Where's my localised White Knight Chronicles? **** you Level 5 I don't care about a new title.
.
How hot does that boxart look? SOOO HOT!!!! Probably one of the best looking boxarts I've seen this generation.
@ Blaze929: Dude, tons of people are disapointed by this. Go to the official forums and see it for yourself. I'm disapointed to be honest and my hype went down much.
And I don't get how some here are comparing the success of non-sandbox games like Resident Evil or MGS to Alan Wake, lol. Those are different things. This game was first shown as an open-world horror adventure, that's the MAJOR idea the game is built upon and in a way it could have redefined the horror genre with tha...
I'm starting to believe they had faced some technical issues and found it best to drop the open-world elements. That "more focused storytelling" excuse I don't buy.
When they showed the game back in 2007, one of the key points Remedy told us that it's a sandbox horror adventure. This is how I have always thought of Alan Wake. Until now >:[
Maybe it was a mistake to show the game to the public that early. Damn hype.
Am I the last one who got to know this!? :(((((((
It's no longer a sandbox game? Man, one of the MAIN reasons why I was very interested in this game is its sandbox nature with all those beautiful graphics. This is seriously a huge letdown for me. :(
And to those who agree with this step by Remedy, well yeah now the game is more focused on the story but be sure that it has lost a huge portion of fun elements. I was very impressed in 2007 when I saw the first screens o...
that's how alluring the ps3 is ;)
let's be friends ppl, don't disagree with my post lol ^_^
