edit: some people have worked out from chartrack published data (in famitsu march edition) about how well prolouge did in the uk opening week and the fact that chartrack say Mgs did 2000 better so theoratically speaking Mgs 'allegedly' did between 108,000 to 112,000. I personally don't think uk market is the biggest market in eur...
looks awesome on HD TV. but still nice to hear people having fun in SD as well...
it's a pretty good game...what I can't understand is why GTA was so universally loved and this one isn't....

well it can't only be price.. here in the uk the x360 is cheaper then the wii... to be honest the wii has it's appeal, I don't think its herd behaviour...
Mgs is going to be huge. just how huge...thats the question...sony need japan on board..if Mgs doesn't do it...white knight or something similiar can come quick enough...but I still can't see the ps3 failing, what with final fantasy, resident evil 5 and a whole host of others...its defo the price I think..

balance was more then a little off...but I got to own up that we still play that at our home....when was soul calibre 2 released? and of course the dreamcast version is said to be a classic, up there with sf2 lore. but i never owned or played that so...would love to if it came over to psn or something...
tried virtua fighter after thinking tekken's gone down south. and the latest one is pretty cool. tekken came back with latest one though...love the psp version...looking foward to street fighter...and of course the soul calibre...

what I want is like an full-on action rpg...
well, its not as simple as you think...if GTA4 was a console exclusive, they could be comparable. COD4 got ousted by GTA4 in a matter of weeks. I'm sure games will come out that will up the anti against GTA4. and the first big test is MGS4. remember japan will also get the game. not a single ps3 game has gone near wii best sellers in japan. this might just be the first.
and I don't know about you, but there seems to be a lot more market push in japan then where I am (London, europe)
did you say grid is better then gt,forza and pgr? Generally speaking critically/sales wise and general debate don't class grid with those ones...maybe you mean't for yourself?
