its a news and weather channel from around the world. Personally I think it's going to be google driven; sony and google are really working together which is a good sign. in fact Sony seems to be doing very well on the partnership front: Skype/sky/google/youtube/trend micro/the guys who publish Qore/that music show on psn/topgear etc... just get BBC iplayer already...I really want that more then life with playstation.
if anything it'd be like the american video store. it was already in firmware but realeased when it was without a need for software download and locked to the USA. Just goes to show Sony Ps3 firmwares always have surprises locked into them. I'm just hoping a flash upgrade is in the works.

I wonder how much top gear is going to cost in the uk, since you can watch it for free (live) and then still watch it for free with the brilliant BBC iplayer. They should make Iplayer work on ps3...they really should...

erm...suppose so...they showed tons of games on the ps3 and like avatars on the x360...and this was supposed to be based on games? so basically it was gears 2/fable 2 over lbp/infamous/R2/K2/Fat princess etc etc etc?

you can download whilst playing...I was more aggrevated by the installs...the downloading just happened in the background.

only kidding...yeh the inq's like that, they are a rumour led news site, so its kind of their field to say things like nvidia chipset is dead and stuff. but the thing is they are right from time to time so I wouldn't rule it out of the question.
