I don't know how many of you watched Msoft's press conference last night..but they only showed games that are scheduled be out THIS year(with the exception of the RE:5 teaser). Resident Evil 5 was confirmed for X360 last year or whenever it was that they announced the game...this is old news. that lil snippet of the trailer looked cool though.
I like the games that Msoft has coming out this fall and I really can't wait for them to be released...well most of them. That being said I really thought their press conference was LAME. Absolutely nothing new announced or shown. NOTHING. What is that all about? As cool as this game looks...especially graphically...it really appears to be nothing more than a fighting game masquerading as an action/adventure game. From the screens/videos seen thus far it kind of looks like Mortal Kombat: Armageddon's Konquest Mode, just way more in depth. This is cool...but I dunno I was just hoping for it to be more of an adventure game...less of a fighter. From what I gather (after watching the video and analyzing what this guy is saying) it appears that Naruto: Rise of the Ninja is being made on X360 for 2 reasons.
1.) Since the game isn't being released in Japan and X360 has much better market share (currently)in USA and European Markets than PS3 its a no brainer to release it on X360 for that reasoning.
2.) I believe is RAM the second reason.

FF11 didn't sell X360's in japan or anywhere for numerous reasons...
1.) because its OLD...very old. They released it on PS2 which clearly was the winner last generation and PC and it wasn't breakin the bank then.
2.) it sucked...especially the console version. I remember working at gamestop when it came out...no one cared. It was bad....very bad. I won a copy played it....hated it...gave it away to a FF fiend..who also hated it. It just wasn't a good game.

I am very interested as to how this game will play...this has so much potential. How much better would a Naruto MMORPG game be? Think about it...the way the Naruto Universe is set-up screams MMORPG...I'm suprised there has only been fighting and action games based on this license thus far. The 12 different shinobi villages in the series/movies, the numerous clans withing the different villages, the many different jutsu(techniques), the academy and chuunin exams, the mission structures, etc...
I would not say that Msoft has abandoned the HD-DVD drive add-on Shadowgamer.
Its actually quite the contrary. According to sites like nexgenwars.com msoft has over 10million X360's sold. There are about/over 2 million Xbox live subscribers. Not all of the 2mil. are X360 owneers..that's a very safe assumption. Where does that leave the 8-9 million X360 owners who want HD movies but are not members of Live? That's right those are the ones that Msoft is trying to sell the HDDV...
DMC4 is being released at the same time on both PS3 and X360 so I don't know if you could classify that as a mere port. But that not withstanding its gonna be a great title. Now the only reasons for me to get a PS3 is MGS4, Tekken 6 and possibly Heavenly Sword (its either gonna be really good or really bad..I hope really GOOD).

Of all the things to say...he chose we turned down the mud..because it makes the game unplayable. This has 2 possible implied meanings... a.)the physics caused too much skidding really making races sluggish or b.) the strain of the mud trax, mud splashback on vehicles and camera was too much for the "all-powerful" cell and rsx combo. I must say I agree with the vast majority of what this retailer is saying. Have started my own game store...the middle-men/distributors are just plain evil. Unless you are Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Gamestop, Toys "R" US...etc.....you are treated like a beggar on the street that most people step over and go on about their business. I worked for one of the companies I mentioned above...and I found out their profit margin on new titles is very high. For example...Resident Evil 3.....
I think Msoft needs to do the following in order to really penetrate Japanese market.
-First and foremost they need support from more of the Major japanese studios. Square-Enix(sorry Silpheed and FFXI isn't good enough), Bandai-Namco(have they released or announced anything for X360) and Konami (Rumble Roses I think is all they have offered thus far). I agree with the vast majority of the posts here. Msoft clearly has the strongest line-up of the 3 going into this holiday season. Will I understand msoft's approach this E3 I do think they dropped the ball by not droppin some major/bombshell announcement. More people watched this E3 than any previous E3 in history making this the best time to really generate hype for your product. Sure Msoft showed off more games than any other console maker there and sure all those games are coming this...
