Legitimately haven't heard of these titles - minus CupHead of course - all on my radar now for sure!
A Red Faction Guerrilla remake would be pretty cool, but I feel it'd need rebuilding from the ground up to make it worth it tbh, so probably better for a sequel/reboot, because the destruction in that game can still hold its own to this day - imo - so to get pushed any further to warrant a remaster/remake, it'd need a wholly rebuilt engine.
Enslaved would be cool as well, so long as they changed the.. odd ending. I'd go through it again for that!
A good read. I personally quite like a good, shorter 4-10ish hour games myself.. just I normally have to wait a while after release until they're cheaper than when at full RRP, which can be silly expensive for what it is. But they can be as good, if not better than full-blown Open World titles I believe; Journey, Monument Valley, Strike Suit Zero, Valiant Hearts, Pneuma, Halo: Spartan Assault, Beyond Eyes, all being said examples of great short games (imo of course).

The example given in the article is perfect of why a permanent ban is a bit over the top, but simultaneously it does set a precedent that cheating is not allowed nor will be tolerated. Especially in a multiplayer game cheating sucks! So it's a hard one to call

I think it could be an interesting film personally. The game focuses on the teamwork and that of course - which as said in the piece, nullifies the focus on the story - but taken as a whole, The Division is another apocalypse story. Something the film industry has a lot of, but nothing quite like the premise nor the hard-hitting reality of the Division.
If it's treated properly and not made into a bombfest, I think it could be an interesting take on the end-of-humanity...

It's not "needed" per-se, especially given that newer generations of gamers that come in won't be expecting to have split-screen as - frankly - it isn't available to them, and online gaming has taken over. But, (and I'm in this group), it would very much be appreciated for older gamers/those who HAVE experienced split-screen gaming before the rise of online gaming (heck I'm only in my early 20's and I love split-screen - if mainly for gaming nights)! Some games need to work harder, some are just given/earned the luxury of support from big companies, a-la Cuphead and No Man's Sky!
If you really want to get attention, IMO the best way to do it, is just as Fallout 4 done it. Short tease mere days before a full reveal, with launch only months later! Don't be dragging out a game to try and instil hype among fans.

The Open Beta was good, great fun even, and the customisation is addictive and surprisingly deep, but I can understand the angst against it, it just didn't 'feel' like an arena shooter, which it was labelled as being.
