Indeed, it is what they are good at. 3rd parties are releasing enough multiplayer games, so a single player focus with a FEW in house multiplayer projects would balance out perfectly I believe. I gotta say, I am really liking what I am hearing going into the PS5.
Not so. Nintendo had the best exclusives in 2017 and PS4 had 2018.
For 2019, my money is on Nintendo. Astral Chain looks like an amazing new IP, 2019 Pokemon, Daemon X Machina, Fire Emblem, Link's Awakening Remake, Luigi's Mansion 3, Yoshi (which looks far better than expected), and Animal Crossing will all be amazing and push a lot of Switch units this year.
Sony will be right behind them, but one or two big games won't be enough to beat ou...
There was also a Persona 5 S trademarked at the same time Persona 5 R was. I am betting the S version is Switch.

You do realize that MS is coming out with a streaming service similar to PSNow (which already can stream PS4 games) right? Are you implying that Sony are the only ones that have the technology to stream games?

It could be that they are preparing for the XBox streaming service to be allowed on Switch, which would be a win, win, win.
Switch owners get more demanding games, MS gets to expand their service, and Nintendo reaches a wider audience of gamers.

A. Not every PS4 owner is subbed to PSPlus.
B. Not every PS4 that has ever been sold is active.
C. There are actually more XBLGold members than PSPlus members because of thise that still play on 360 and there is no need for a plus membership on PS3.

It is tracking ahead of PS4 in the US in the same timeframe. Just because they did not hit 20 mil does not mean it is not aelling phenomenally.

PS3 did not lock multiplayer behind a paywall, so far less people had a plus membership than 360 had Gold memberships. It is not rocket science. It was not until PS copied MS with the payed multiplayer that Plus subscribers started to really stack up.
My point is, Plus numbers are mainly PS4 gamers while XBLG members are 360 and X1 combined and over a longer period of time.
Or people just feel forced to because they want to play Smash and Mario Kart online.
XBL was founded on this factor with Halo 3 and the like. Why would it have played out any differently for Nintendo?
The Switch has just as much overall content as the PS4 and X1 in their first two years, and FAR more quality exclusives in the same timeframe.
Man I have never seen people reach so hard to downplay. Just accept that the Switch is a desired device with great exclusives and move on. You are only living in denial trying to put a negative spin on everything.
