I am not sure if my eyes are failing me but there seems to be real performance increase atleast in DX9 in the retail version over the demo. I think you could probably run it smoothly with all very high settings(except shadows perhaps) at 720p or 1680x1050(there is a significant performance difference between 720p and the latter).
yeah its basically downloading the image file of the game and 360 acts like an old Xbox emulator. no thanks.
Yeah the hacking incident was totally weird. I think she is fake as well
If I had a Wii, Super Mario Galaxy FTW!
sorry I forgot to add "during boot", its not really a big thing, most motherboards give you the option to choose which hard drive you want to boot to.
For my setup. I put in one hard drive installed Vista, disconnected it and connected the other hard drive and installed XP64 onto it. This way they dont conflict with each other. Comp boots to Vista by default.
why are people falsely reporting this video?
being blue, probably taste like seafood
imo awesome video. Just one week left and good bye to my outside life .
that should do work fine. I am doing something similar. Whenever I want XP, I press F11(during boot) and choose the hard drive I installed it in.
Performance of the retail game is better than the demo. I am playing at Very High 720p 4xAA with framerate always in the 20s. I felt giddy like a kid when I fired a rocket at a speeding reinforcement truck. Also helicopters are not hard as some reviewers say atleast not in the first 3 levels(playing at Hard difficulty). 3 rockets and ...
yes you can. Only in multiplayer there is difference between DX10 and DX9.
I think redesigns are great as long as the price is the same. Most people dont use GBA carts on DS(not me, as I want to play FFTactics Advance sometime) so I think they would prefer the new one with better display.
yeah XP is performing better at this point
it makes no sense they made a head and head comparison with video for insiders if they really wanted to soften up.
@DaCandyman, since I am in a dorm I use a cheap display. From experience, both PS3 and 360 suffered from washed out colors on cheap computer displays. 360 was fixed in the summer when Reference Level option was made available and with the PS3, if you go to Display Settings and change "RGB Color Range" to Full, PS3 colors becomes normal instead of being washed out.
if anybody here is a subscriber to IGN, check their head to head comparison http://insider.ign.com/arti...
If that is the case, they should change the scores as well.
no it made it hotter
