dont know if Sony supports SK but they are developing a game for PS3 as well, I think under Sega. As for UT3, it seems the PS3 version demoed to the press is doing well, while SK says it doesn't have a working PS3 code of the engine(similar to Gears).
"He said it short-circuited key software programs" That was weird.
[edit] My problems with Vista, it takes a lot of memory(disabled Sidebar) and UAC is unnecessarily annoying at times(esp when comp is being used 100%, screen simply goes blank for sometime) other than that its fine and very stable.
it would have been great if they told what those two "slightly different" stories were for ignorant people like me.
yeah with many good games, its hard to care about this. Sure it will sell truckloads in Japan.
When you first look at it, everyone including you, me and Industry loves Epic, they made great games and Silicon Knights only showed a couple of videos of a game delayed from PS era, you think SK is just lazy. But after reading the detailed claims and a number of UE3 based game delays that don't seem coincidental, maybe there is more to it.
As Kotaku points out, a lot have been delayed
Hmm Silicon Knights is making a game for PS3, its not Too Human obviously still interesting but not surprising I guess
[edit] I didn't know they had a contract with Sega
yeah that would be great
@nasim, you are a joke
well I guess then we can sue God if we suck at life
alright I haven't been playing much 360 recently thats why I removed it, its the same uberXan86
"Contributor of the Month" is that a new comedy movie from N4G? I hope it has a murder scene involving Jessica Simpson. Anyways Kudos to MK_Red and TnS
if what Silicon Knights is saying is true, then both PS3 and 360 are affected.
yeah if what Silicon Knights says is true and other licensees feel same, then this is indeed going to become bad for Epic, but right now details are still sketchy
looks truly next gen.
I dont know if the trailers and screenshots we were seeing recently are from UE 3 or Silicon Knights' own engine but they looked good some even great
I was laughing like crazy when I first read in Inquirer almost two years back about one of the D(H)ell Laptops blew somewhere in Japan. The picture was very funny.
Halo 3 is popular enough to sell 360s at 400 dollars. I expect Microsoft to not reduce price when the game is released, it will sell a lot of new systems and then just before the Holiday frenzy they will probably drop price maybe after introducing Falcon. My $0.02.
I never said Too Human sucked or anything, read again I said it was promising. It seems Silicon Knights is saying UE 3 support is inadequate(I am guessing sorry it could be anything), I find it hard that Epic would allow Silicon Knights to continue to use UE 3 unless they reach an amicable settlement. It seems that wont be the case.
I hope the PS3 version of the game is not poorer than 360's in anyway, as the PS3 Collectors Edition is the best version as far as content goes
