all I can say is that particular alien enemy su(ked. But thankfully there will be a lot more variation if not this game will end being a tech demo(nothing can beat it in sheer graphics) since story seems lacking.
from playing the demo, I think that should easily do good at a resolution like 1280x720 or 1280x1024 with max settings and possibly better. Anyways go ahead try the demo, it should give you a good idea of how it will run on your computer
IMO Bioshock is truly AAA, dont play it on easy, its too easy
they are close to actiontrip I suppose.

if this is a good game I will get it for the PS3, if its just run of the mill shooter(they can still be fun but there are just tons of games this fall) then doesn't really matter. People who say Halo 3 is Halo 2.5 are just flaming and people who compare Haze to Crysis in graphics dept are blind. And I am in hurry before school one last unrelated comment: Is Rachet & Clank FTOD any bad because it uses same old gameplay? Hell no way.
yep DX10 is not bad(check Crysis, there is noticable difference between last year and this year, later being only on DX9) but nobody is using it or using it badly.
I am going to sell my card on ebay, hopefully some su(ker buys it for 450 bucks. When Crysis is released, nvidia's G92 will also be released and it is rumored to run 3 times faster than current 8800GTX

forcing the demo to run on DX9 also enables me to force AA on Vista(it looks a lot better with AA even on high resolutions) but damn it also introduces tons of bugs in the game
Crysis supported DX9 and XP from day one. All the videos that have come out recently are all DX9 footage. At this moment they have problems with dx10 drivers from nvidia and ati(dev said not vista problem).

This game will keep me happy in the racing dept till full GT5 comes next year. I wont bother with NFS.

got GOW2, played only the first level very cool and fun. I will play it after I finish Ratchet and Clank games and Bioshock
I thought this was old. A year or so ago I got email about pre-ordering and downloading Battlefield 2142 via EA Store.
I saw the trailer 10 minutes before class, it was awesome. MGS4 cant really be compared to anything out there. Its a great part of gaming by itself. This game is going to be worth the wait. And please stop comparing SC with MGS, the later is surely better than the former in production values but they are ultimately very different.
I dont really have any comment on this review, but lets not forget IGN UK gave Motorstorm a 9 which it deserved.
I should have said my game of the year, obviously its my personal preference. Yeah Halo 3, Mario and Metroid Prime will be serious contenders too.
unless Mass Effect has an awesome story (seems unlikely from reading first part of the prequel, it will still be fun) Bioshock will be overall game of the year. IMO the only game that could have given it competition is MGS4(its the last one, there is no way Kojima will mess it up).
let me tell you what is beyond photorealistic, its Juiced, also its beyond hope
