I haven't had any problems with any of the firmware updates an all the games listed that said to have problems -_- I had no problem and finish Uncharted with firmware 3.0 and I ran alot of old games and alot of newer ones.
I think people are doing something wrong or just got bad luck with it, now suing Sony is a bad move, before you update your systems. Theirs a little thing that shows up on your screen saying problems might happen and you are taking the chance at having them
Over 1.7 mill. copys, nice number and I paid for the Prestige Edition, over 217 dollars spent at GameStop for preorder games for this month.
I preorder MW2 like almost a year ago and I didn't pick up Uncharted 2 because I had Demon's Souls Dex. Ed, Ninja GS2: Collectors Ed. Plus my gf got me Disgaea 3 and I spent over 70 bucks getting some of the add ons and some games for her to play.
So I kind of miss out on R&C A Crack In Time, Tekken 6 and Uncharted 2.
But I did rent all of them and I got both pretty much done.
I was more of the lines saying Sony is bigger an got more money because they own alot more then Nintendo does, if you knew how to read, then you would know what I said.
If Sony games an the PS3 start doing bad, they got movies, cds and much more to fall back on to support them and Nintendo doesn't really have that kind of support.
Plus Wii sales aren't doing as good as they use to, that just means the Wii is done for this year because everyone wants HD gaming and the...
But to be a hardcore gamer, you wouldn't care if it looks good but would care if the game did run right and had no problems an games that look smooth are easy on the eyes.
I only count myself as a hardcore gamer because I buy every system out their an play games that I like (Not games that people say are the best) that is really what a true hardcore gamer is.
PS3 will keep going, PS2 hasn't die yet and are stores here keep selling PS2 really good an PS3. Right now everyone pretty much owns a 360 or a Wii...or sold their Wii to get a 360 or PS3.
In the long run, Sony knows what they are doing an so does Nintendo but Nintendo isn't in it to win, but more of the lines to just make money and make people happy.
Not saying Sony isn't but Nintendo is more a family system then PS3 or 360.
But you got to think on the other side, if Nintendo made notthing but 2D games for the Wii or their new system. It would hurt them more because this Gen is about how good looking games are.

Halo, Mass Effect, Fable, Gears Of War, Forza and CrackDown and maybe some other little titles. But most of their RPG games are now coming to PS3 but better, so I think he is full of himself.
Its funny on how they keep saying they got the best line up that is 360 only but most of the games turn out to be only time. Plus I don't count DLC games, even if it is the GTA ones, mostly because its not really a game but just a DLC.
If Nintendo uses bluray an uses all the memory for the game, but not to make it look good but to make it longer. Then yeah they need bluray, cd has lost its greatness.
But some games do need to look good, are you saying you wouldn't want another game that look as good as Zelda The Twilight Princess? Because that be dumb, the game was awesome but if they use bluray to make it look alittle more nice and much bigger.

I wouldn't be shock if Microsoft does it to make up for any loss's, but who knows, I think they just need to make it free like the PSN is.

Just rented it an been having a hard time not playing it vs Broader Land and Demon's Souls.
