Duke Nukem Forever & ever & ever...
I know!? I'm stoked too..
This one is right up there the cross-game chat :D
What a complete waste of time It's like 20 secs of the demo intro. Awesome..
And that's not even bringing up the topic of piracy. The game is probably already circulating the torrent sites, denying Bioware their rightfully earned cash.
If the console market is where the profit is to be made - it should, naturally, be the market to aim for.
Piracy on the PC is TREMENDOUS compared to consoles (all for the better).. I don't mean to rant, but it is (partly) the tossbags illegally downloading the games, thereby hampering the financ...
@Bea & Palae'.
Yup. It's a lot more fun to bring stuff down than it is to praise.
I'm happy with the lack of Mass Effect comparisons on which all other reviews seem ot rely. Thank god for that.
For starters - I'm European, and I wont have the full game untill tomorrow - the demo, however, I have played through a few times. On that note, I'll skip ahead.
I'm not going to agree or disagree with you on this one, to be honest. What got to me about DA:O was the dark fantasy setting and the quality that went into creating a good atmosphere and a believable story. It was the character development and the micro-management that went into making classes, applying ...
Personally, I believe one has to make up ones mind about virtually everything... No two minds think alike.
I don't consider Mass Effect to be the messiah of standards to which all other RPG's must adhere (now oldschool D&D however..).
I didn't think Bayonetta was worth the disc it came on (I rather enjoyed the artwork, mind you). These are both opinions weighing against the average opinions - which I respect ofc..
I reckon it ...
Nah, in the demo you partake in the escape from Lotherin. (The event which was merely hinted by dialogue and illustrated by a skull mark on the map in DA:O.. in retrospect, it makes sense why they did this, now... Makes you wonder if you might run into Sten if you chose not to rescue him in DA:O..)
A good read. Doesn't spoil anything and dwells on DA:O for comparisons (for the better).
Seems believeable.
Why two? I mean, DA:O was my personal goty in 2k10, and I'll be overjoyed for months to come of DA:2 is but half as good. But I'll probably settle for just the *one* copy (Signature pre-order mind you, obviously :p).
I've been dodging DA:2 info to ensure that it wasn't spoiled for me, but is the console version radically different from the PC version? (Controls/camera aside)
Fully agreed!
My 5 cents..
Less shooting, more freerunning, pseudo-"open" world, 3rd person possibility, combat kept to a minimum (and preferably to hand/hand) Fonr :p
Any form of collection of PII or 'resale' of PII is illegal. Particularly when involved with a purchase.
If PII is to be used by a store, chain or W/E, your approval will be necessary + you are required to be informed in regards to the use of the PII -- the example given in the article uses an invoulentary subscribtion of a magazine like Gamereactor/Gamescribe; this too is illegal unless the consent of the costumer is provided.
E.g. whenever you provi...
I, for one, like him better as well. I HATED the guy in kz2.. I had high hopes of being able to space the guy in kz3 - but with his scruffy hair and baggy outfit.. He's like a loveable hobo, not an obnoxious parody anymore. :D
It's up now btw
Aaaaw!? I thought the retro pack had Pyrrhus Rise :( hence I pre-ordered the C.E.
Ah well, I don't wanna get kicked out of a game for not having the map pack anyway... That and Steelcase > normal.
Demon's souls 2.0 :D gief
We don't even know how it runs yet - reporters JUST caught eye on actual game footage. Keep your panties on. It DOES looks fucking awesome, no doubt, but to outright call it better THAN (not *then*, how was this news approved without a spelling check of the TITLE?) anything we know to death might be a bit soon.
Recent RE titles have lacked the suspense of the prior installments. The return to Racoon seemed like a step in the right directioin - but if you're combining Racoon city with the 'fast paced action' of RE5, you'll be murdering a classical element rather than improving the shite that is RE5 :(.
Survival horror > action in this case.
