I disagree kakkoi. The programming is blatantly not taking advantage of these gfx cards. look at ps3 exclusive games and theyre running on the 7800 gts :) some are arguably better looking than games like crysis! so they havent done so. And i know the cell is responsible for a lot of it but still the total output of the ps3 is near 2 gigaflops, the 4870 X2 does that on its own, so why arent pc games looking amazing with just an X2? why doesnt crysis run at 60 or even 30 fps solidly with maximu...
I can help you out with maxing GTA4s sliders, add this into the game config in oplace of the stuff Get into game folder and put this in the "commandline" text document
" -nomemrestrict -availablevidmem 2.0 -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100". Before "-nomemrestrict" have to do SPACE!
Finally save the changes. Also, make sure this is in place of the nomemrestrict stuff before. Itll stream all its textures off ur ram if u have 4gb of it and therell ...

uncharted had no frame rate problems, it had screen tearing problems, but thats ok, UC2 is an exclusive PS3 game and it looks better whilst having no drop in framerate and VSYNC.
@ Mart, if you werent a fanboy, youd clearly see KZ2>COD4 any day. The clan system, the graphics, the realistic controls, the better animations, the more balanced weapons system e.t.c......
mart, KZ2 couldnt be done on 360 and nothing wil reach that level of detail on it until far into its lifecycle as a console FACT
killzone 2 has NO frame rate dropping whatsoever and it feels silky smooth at a constant 30 FPS FACT
Uncharted 2, Heavy rain and GOW3 are all either visually or technically more impressive than killzone 2, the 360 has nothing to compare to this yet (Alan wake 360 footage still not shown) if it ever will and these are all ps3 exclusives running at eithe...
its a thriller and an emotional, believable story. Alan Wake is a science fiction game. im bored with stupidly fictional games like alan wake. Anyway, I cant be arsed to game on my pc nowadays anyway so why would I be interested in Alan wake?, a game thatll only look anywhere near as good as the trailers with a super gaming pc?
think you should shut up until theres actually in game 360 footage of alan wake, both look like good games and btw, how do you know how alan wake plays?
however there are 4 different characters with 4 different stories and they probably all contribute and amount to some form of ending. Its based around crime investigation (obviously) and its meant to be an emotional story incorporating lots of adult themes and such, im really hyped.

heavy rain has AMAZING character detail, way better than UC2 or KZ2, maybe not MGS4 yet actually hmm, i dont know, I need to go and replay that to see but it beats UC2 (ok, not by far, but fractionally) and definitely beats kz2, environmental effects look better too. check the HD version btw since u obviously havent. But i do agree, UC2 looks a-freakin'-mazing and ill prefer UC2 no doubt, want the beta so bad but i cant buy qore or preorder infamous atm, sadface.
did you guys see the lagoon trailer, lapdancing never looked so good xD nd wow, im really amazed they can display that many characters (like what, 150? 200?) on screen with all that fast changing lighting, the reflections on the floor and metal objects e.t.c with all that detail without a slowdown. thats actually amazing, I never thought they could do something like that. wow.
I could tell before that people hadnt seen the HD footage on gametrailers when they said it looked disappointing xD hopefully this will show them how amazing heavy rain looks, graphically the best console game ever, funny how only ps3 exclusives seem to be gaining that title now developers understand its architecture huh? :)

Erm its not a 360 exclusive, theyre working on pc version first nd "probably" then a 360 and ps3 release. In any cse its on pc as well, that doesnt count as an exclusive
but wont gpgpu computing make my processor a redundant piece of hardware, will i need to upgrade the processor too? Btw what dont you think my rig can run? Ive OCed the gfx card and unlocked its pipelines e.t.c and crysis runs @ very high or enthusiast in warhead, 2xAA at 35 - 40 fps "blows raspberry"
