Yes, the textures look like that of a game from n64. But stop crying about it. From what I got this is by wii u owners for wii u owners. These guys don't exactly have the biggest budget. It is just for fun.
And being able to mod your game, create art to put in your game, 16 players able to be online together with voice chat with full gamepad integration with more updates to come, is not bad at all for a fan made game.

Over a year ago on E3 2013, people were promised games. The "true" next gen experience was said to be upon them. In fact, sony's console drove solely on this, the promise of games. Hope it sells well. Everyone will be spend $60+ on Smash, Amiibos, GC adapters and controllers. Will people even have enough for this game?

I have a love-hate relationship with the internet. There is no need for magazines now that we have news sites. The Nintendo direct was probably the nail in the coffin for this. I don't blame them. Nintendo direct is really successful. 2 million people alone wait to watch a live Nintendo direct.

It is fact by legal definition that generation means a group of individuals living around the same time. Anyone that says any generation is based on strength created there own fanboy definition. It would probably be for the best. CTTT is a "minor" game. Not minor in content, just minor in sales and hype. It will be overshadowed by smash bros and any other big release on wii u.
You only found it boring because you did not get to play your self. People on twitch (mostly) watch other people play what they have already played. You just sat back and watched someone else experience it before you did. When I watch a live twitch play of Super mario bros, I want to see what that guy will do differently then what I did.
Wii u has only gotten better as time goes on. I hope it will be the next ps3 were at the beginning no one buys one but at the end of it's life it sells like hot cakes.
