It's not a release style that I'm a fan of. I had a lot of fun with the first episode and am not looking forward to waiting for the next one to release, let alone the following three!
Has anyone played the first game? Any idea what type of gameplay it is?
After watching the trailer I am really interested in the mod! Wouldn't have cared less about the game itself otherwise.
I hadn't known about this series, but it actually looks pretty interesting. Some of those screenshots make the game look like something I'd play.
Everyone keeps telling me I need to get this game. I haven't played the first two though, is it necessary to follow the story from the first and second before getting into the third?
The game sounds pretty awesome.
I haven't tried logging in yet for the weekend, but I'd imagine it hasn't been... smooth.
I've noticed lag throughout my play time over the week, even at what I would think were not peak times.
I could have done without the Link mud-wrestling match image in my head...
Dear Diablo III,
Please just give me some of my life back. That's not asking too much, is it?
I've been hearing a lot about Divina lately. I'll be interested to hear how the beta goes.
I'm sure Bioware aren't going to take all fan ideas into account (that would likely destroy the game), but it's refreshing to see even the illusion of caring from a developer when it comes to fan input.
"No! Go back to rage!" - Hahahaa, sounds about right.
I really like the narrative option for multiplayer like they've done with Assassin's Creed, Max Payne, and Mass Effect. It provides that extra bit of engagement for the player and provides an illusion of keeping things fresh and meaningful.
I do enjoy a good point-and-click adventure! Haven't played one in a while so I'll likely pick this one up.
Unfortunate about that other company that was providing the engine for Devil's Third.
I think they tried too hard to incorporate complex mechanics that may have gone outside the scope of what they were capable of.
Maybe not 'erase', but it's certainly changing gaming culture in offering more options to both gamers and developers.
As Elderly_Cynic mentions, the Etrian Odyssey games are a nice alternative for non-PC owners. Be prepared for grinding though, because it also has JRPG elements.
I love the lore and history that comes from the zombie genre. Even the misconceptions are interesting!
They'll either "solve" the Kinect issue, or challenge Microsoft to start utilizing it in more creative ways. In either case, it could be beneficial for the motion gaming industry.
