That'd be interesting, but Sony owns the IP 100%. So, I can't see how that is part of the issue, if there is even one.
Windows 11’s new fullscreen mode still doesn’t work as advertised because it relies on a hybrid borderless system that many games don’t fully support. Instead of smoother performance, it often brings stutter, input lag, and inconsistent VRR or HDR, making things even worse. Sadly, it still needs more work, and this is why many Xbox Ally owners ended up installing SteamOS or Bazzite for a more reliable fullscreen experience.
I agree 100% with this. This is a terrible deal, and it shouldn't happen.
That's something we had mentioned, just add another version of XGP for those who don't want COD, or do an ala carte option and let the players build from several options.
Versus this mess.
Nope. Sony, nor Microsoft, nor Nintendo have yet to announce, let alone, release controllers with Hall Effect sensors or TMR, that address stick drift. They'd rather we keep purchasing expensive controllers instead of selling us one good controller.
Take it from someone who owned over 25+ controllers and started selling them off, while just sticking with 8Bitdo and Gamesir stuff.
I don't like defending MS or Xbox, but let's be honest. A lot of this has to do with the tariffs in the USA. They did state that the pricing ELSEWHERE is not changing. Just this damned country.
Feel not fill.
This even got me thinking about Resident Evil Requiem, where you get hurt by the enemy, regardless if you want to or not.
To be honest, that is a good question and I can't fathom any survival horror game where you can play it without taking any sort of damage. It's as if developers want you to take damage, to fill that dread that comes with playing that sort of game.
But I am going to reach out to a few developers in that space and see if they'd be able to answer or explore that question.
I had already said I was done with EVO once I heard the news that it was owned by the Saudis. And I don't think many inside the space or outside, truly understands what this means. The culture is going to change, players who are pround about their sexual preference could be blocked or harassed, women may no longer be allowed to compete, stuff like that. It's not a good time for EVO, that had crawled its way back, after the scandal a few years back.
Rental machine? On the real, people always forget that Capcom integrates that shitty DRM, Denuvo into its games on PC, and it ALWAYS messes with PC performance. But on the graphics side, sure, I agree. But that's what happens when the PC is the afterthought and not the lead platform. Eh..
It's basically gimping the game from the door, and we get posts like this until years later when Capcom decides to take the DRM out of the game.
I don't think Capcom forgot about Strider Hiyru; it's just that the last game didn't do well in terms of sales, and sadly, most of the companies nowadays are all about the ROI and not much with taking risks. I'd love another Strider, myself. Maybe after the success of the other upcoming game (trust me), maybe Capcom will take an interest.
I see a few people saying that this season isn't worth it, and I have to mention that this isn't being catered to casual gamers, no disrespect on that. Capcom is basically jamming this down our throats, but the ones who are going to be swallowing this are those who compete in tournaments, since Sagat is very strong, and people are looking forward to C.Viper and Alex.
And here's where Capcom is counting on people to get this season. Sucks, yep. But it's Capco...
Dying Light got delayed.
I miss arcades ;(
Agreed. I still love it and play it often. Still sucks that Disney was like, nah... this game didn't do well, when it did well against other racers and reviewed well.
Why would you disable cross-play?
I suppose better late than never. But why?
Exactly. I don't see why people keep pitting the Switch/Switch 2 against handheld PCs. They are two different ecosystems, and they are treated as such.
I didn't even know Elden Ring was coming to the Switch 2.
I mentioned that in my article, did you read it? I literally pointed out this is exactly why the game is still doing well, and why Sony has zero reason to remake/remaster it.
And there are plenty of PS4 to PS5 remaster/remakes, to counterpoint that.
