Halo was up there and it did that without whoring its difficulty to the point where its as easy as playing ball in a cup.
I agree they did the unthinkable but I place that more on developers fallowing the trail left behind by COD after Halo went dormant instead of doing there own thing.

I agree but it all depends upon how the developer sells it. Really the best thing is sell it like food to kids or something the game has to be good and if it actully helps you lose a couple of pounds its a plus. Example of this is the streetfighter Kinect Mod which really is very movement heavy.
I'n the video you see the streetfighter kinect mod / Hack made by just your average gamer now imagine that on the Kinect 2 with better controls and a large and more skilledteam ...

No it doesn't but it can be a great addition if done right.
I'm placing most of the blame on MS. Even when there was a sliver of Hope for awesome additions of motion controls that would work good with games they just ignored it.
Seeing bulletstorm played with it and then hearing about fun labs I was excited for that to come but they just gave us boring demos/ mini games. They wasted there opportunities to make a comeback basically.
Its a 50/50 between the games and kinect. Kinect for its functionality and the games for t here all around horridness. The streetfighter mod for kinect on PC looked like it worked well though and even though it was movement heavy it looked so fun. DBZ kinect COULD of been good but we were dealing with spike then even there non kinect games were trash.
At above comments yea you have a point I'm not sure about new space constraints but kinect use wont be limited to motion controls but yea I understand. to the redneck thing yea that was just my mind wandering so just ignore that.
